The owner, a down to earth ski bum keeps a home in Livingston and another northern Montana town so he can follow the snow, ski local mountains, and enjoy the summer nights & rivers around Livingston. You will feel his love for all things original, authentic and ski related in this cozy home.

This 3 bedroom, 2 full bath home is a great choice for town lovers looking for quality without the frills. You are guaranteed a comfortable and affordable stay with the benefits of being in a unique home instead of a hotel room. 2 of the 3 bedrooms have quality queen size beds. A third queen sized mattress can be laid out in the 3rd bedroom (usually an office) should you want a third bed.

A nice dining room, fully stocked kitchen, spacious living room (TV with cable), laundry, and office room with wi-fi, make it a great choice for a traveler needing to work, or a small family looking for a place to lay their heads as they get out and explore the Greater Yellowstone National Park area. The yard is large and has a great deck/patio with propane BBQ grill to enjoy the gorgeous Livingston evenings.

If you venture from the great backyard of the home you will find yourself blocks from the Yellowstone River, our local parks where a lively Farmers Market and live entertainment greet you each Wednesday of the summer. Locals know that summer is not the only season to be in Livingston. Any night of the week you are likely to find a great meal, quality live music, or special event. The picturesque street that the Happy Hideaway is on has a canopy of trees that seem to lead you down to the river and mountains in the south east. The large yard is great for hanging out with a beer and BBQ with friends or family. If you venture to downtown you can take in the eclectic shops and art that decorate the main streets, grab a quick bite, or listen to the honky tonk and rock music that finds its way to this famous western town.

    This is a perfect house for anyone who wants 3 bedrooms, a really nice yard, a quiet street, (with some barking dogs) and a great location. We were here for almost 2 months and it was quite perfect. The management company was absolutely superb and responsive to any and all requests. We never waited for more than 5 minutes (literally) for any reply back and when a few things were needed, they were right on it. Could the property be improved? The only things were some kitchen essentials that could be added (we have left a note for the owner), and a clean carpet. Frankly, this was really the only thing really in need of care and we know they plan to take care of it. We would absolutely rent this house again and we were perfectly comfortable for the summer months. The A/C made any hot days tolerable, and there are windows everywhere with screens so the nights were great for sleeping.
